We all posses the capacity for growth and change, I can create the circumstances in which this can happen for you. Therapy offers you a safe, confidential place to talk about your life and anything that may be confusing, painful or, uncomfortable.

Our counselling sessions enable you to talk with someone who is trained to listen attentively and to work with you to make changes where you determine necessary. I will draw on all my experience and training to help you to find some resolution to the issues that bring you to counselling.

I use a pluralistic approach in my practice, this means I am trained in and value a range of therapeutic approaches, for you, this puts your needs and preferences at the centre of our work.  I believe that all approaches have value, what is key are your needs, goals and your own therapeutic preferences. You can learn more about different approaches to therapy here

I use my skills and experience in person centred practice alongside my understanding of other approaches to tailor our work to best fit you and your needs.

TESTIMONIAL

Client Testimonial: 'When I first contacted Susan I was seeking support for anxiety, depression and alcohol misuse. I was very new to counselling, and naturally had certain apprehensions about the process. Susan’s approach instantly made me feel at ease and able to be completely open and honest about my problems. Our sessions have helped me immeasurably in reaching my own conclusions about the sources of these, and both my family and friends have seen a remarkable improvement in my mental wellbeing. I would highly recommend Susan for anyone seeking assistance with a wide a variety of issues'.
