I am currently undertaking an Association for Coaching ACC Home - Association for Coaching training in therapeutic coaching, leading to individual coach accreditation.

I currently have space for one or two individual coachees and am particularly interested in working with counselling and psychotherapy practitioners looking for personal development coaching, career transition coaching, or for small team and group coaching. I am also offering a limited number of coaching opportunities for non counselling and psychotherapy practitioners, if this is something that you are interested in exploring further please contact me on adintracoaching@gmail.com

Coaching approach: As well as continuing to work within the parameters of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions I am also practicing in accordance with Global Code of Ethics - Association for Coaching

The primary model for this will be the GROW also known as T-GROW and CLEAR models.

The introductory ‘discovery’ session will usually last between 90 - 120 minutes. Unlike therapy coaching sessions do not occur weekly and the frequency will again be discussed and agreed between us, an interval of 3-6 weeks between sessions would be typical.

Sessions can be in-person [Friday only] or remotely via online video call via ZOOM or TEAMS.

An important aspect of this is to invite both formal and informal feedback from coachees, this will be a feature of our work. As my course involves application to become accredited with the Association for Coaching (AC) I will need to ask for a client reference on the effectiveness of the Coaching work, this is an important part of maintaining high professional coaching standards. You are of course able to decline consent for this.

Following successful completion of the training programme, estimated July – October 2027 I will become an Accredited member of the Association for Coaching [A.C.] and will offer both ‘pure coaching’ and integrated therapeutic coaching.

Difference between therapy and coaching: Coaching is a collaborative, action focused, results oriented, systematic process intended to enhance; performance and experience leading to personal growth. By nature coaching involves openness to feedback and challenge. Coaching clients will usually be in a state of psychological wellness and possess the personal resilience to benefit from the process. Coachees are active participants in the process and retain ownership of the work. The Coach has responsibility for facilitation of the process model and maintaining the qualities and boundaries of the relationship to enable to work to happen.

By consenting to engage in coaching you will be confirming that as far as can be understood you are free from psychological distress. Should unexpected issues arise during our work, we will discuss the most appropriate source of support for you and I will endeavour to support you to access appropriate support for your psychological and emotional wellbeing needs.

Counselling, across all modalities is essentially a sense and meaning making process, which may also include goal setting and reviewing of actions. Clients typically present in a state of psychological and/or emotional distress.

Session duration: Session length will be discussed and agreed between us, coaching sessions may typically last between 30 minutes and 90 minutes, depending on your needs and detail of the work to be undertaken in each session.

Fees (If not covered by an Employer or Insurer): The following fees are set in the context of myself as a therapeutic coach in-training and will be subject to review [for new clients] upon successful completion of my coach training and accreditation.

Standard coaching fee £60 per [90 minute] session, shorter 30, or 60 minute sessions are billed pro rata @£20, and £40 respectively.

I am committed to equity in the availability and accessibility of counselling and coaching and as such offer a concessionary rate set at 50% of the standard fees for clients on low incomes of £20,000 or less.

All fees will be agreed at the outset for the agreed number of sessions.
